Charlie Strong called his first loss as head coach of the University of Texas an embarrassment as his Longhorns got pummeled by BYU 41-7 at home. Strong also mentioned that the suspensions had nothing to do with the way his team played and they simply were just not ready to play.
Charlie: "it's an embarrassment. It's an embarrassment to this program."

Charlie Strong on how he knew they weren't ready: "The whole demeanor. I told 'em before they went out they weren't ready."

Last year’s BYU loss was all about coaching. This year’s loss was about the roster, specifically the offense. It’s unfair that people are going to turn on Strong so fast but he has to understand he’s on a tight deadline. If he doesn’t win fast these alum are going to run him right out of Austin.
