Ex-Oregon FBall Player Says He Was Promised House and Car

Former Oregon Duck Colt Lyerla says he was promised a car and house

Colt Lyerla spent three seasons at Oregon University. You probably never heard of him before this article, but his name will forever hold weight now.

Shabazz Napier stirred up a lot of controversy this past Spring after complaining about starvation. There will always be debates on if collegiate athletes should get paid or not, but even if they don’t get paid legally, it’s impossible to determine how much illegal stuff goes on.

Former Duck Colt Lyerla went to Oregon over USC because of some promises.

Colt Lyerla wanted to attend USC as a five-star recruit out of Hillsboro High School but signed with Oregon in part because an Oregon booster “promised a house, a car, all these things” for Lyerla and his family, he claims in a new story.

This situation is awfully similar to Rashad McCants and North Carolina.
