Mundo Deportivo reported that Lionel Messi’s hometown, Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina has decided to pass a law that prohibits use of the name “Messi” as a first name for any child.
According to Screamer, the purpose of this law is to prevent any confusion.
I mean, if everyone calls Lionel Messi just Messi, imagine if there were over 20 of them in that area?
