The NFLPA has formally filed an appeal of Ray Rice’s indefinite suspension from the league for domestic violence. Rice was originally suspended for 2 games for knocking his then fiancé, Janay Palmer, out. After a video surfaced that showed Rice brutally punching Palmer to the point of being unconscious, commissioner Roger Goodell amended the suspension to be indefinite and the Ravens immediately parted ways with the RB.
