Yesterday, we made a post about Dennis Allen being fired. Now, more additional information came out. The Raiders didn’t just fire Allen, they fired him over the phone only after their 9-11 hour flight back from London. Man, that’s harsh, at least tell him face to face.
According to WSJSports, since 1989, just four coaches have been replaced within the first four games of the season, with the late Al Davis doing it twice—Mike Shanahan (1989) and Lane Kiffin (2008).
On top of that, the Raiders haven’t had a winning season since 2002. There’s is always time for change for the Raiders, hopefully for the better.
The #Raiders fired Dennis Allen tonight over the phone. Really.

Yes the Raiders informed Dennis Allen he is fired over the phone rather than talk to him on an 11 hour flight home from London.
