Alex Marvez of Fox Sports is reporting that Chargers running back Danny Woodhead will likely miss the remainder of the season after suffering a high ankle sprain and broken fibula.

Woodhead had just 15 attempts for 38 yards on the season with no touchdowns before his injury. The Veteran running back was expected to help carry the load with the loss of Ryan Mathews for a month.
