Something is a little off about this, because if infidelity was a reason people were forced to quit their job a lot of people will be out of work.
Washington held a press conference and made this brief statement.
“I made a mistake, and I am embarrassed,” said Washington to start the news conference. “I was not true to my wife after 42 years. I broke her trust. I am here today to own that mistake.”
“All I ask is for your forgiveness and understanding,” Washington continued. He also asked for privacy during this time.
