The Pittsburgh Steelers and defensive back Cortez Allen have agreed to a new five-year contract extension according to the teams official website.

Allen is a fourth-year veteran taken by the Steelers in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL draft. Pittsburgh made room for Allen by pushing Ben Rothlisberger’s contract back until 2015.
