The Bengals placed wide receiver Marvin Jones on injured reserve Tuesday thus ending his season prematurely. Jones is one of the Bengals good young receivers catching 10 touchdowns last season. Jones suffered a broken foot during training camp and was expected to come back early in the regular season. Jones returned to practice but suffered an ankle injury that was not improving.
With the Bengals being depleted at the wide receiver position the team signed Greg Little who played for the Cleveland Browns from 2011-2013 with 155 catches and 8 touchdowns. Little was last with Oakland and then released.
