According to head coach Steve Sarkisian
USC Department of Public Safety website provides details of a domestic violence incident that occurred at 6:21 p.m. on Wednesday. The paper connected Victor Blackwell to that incident. The website describes a male student punching his girlfriend in the face multiple times, throwing a chair at her, smashing her laptop and cell phone on the floor and punching holes into the door of a room the girlfriend retreated to.
USC’s vice provost for student affairs, Ainsley Carry, released a statement.
“The University of Southern California takes very seriously any report of violence or assault and does not tolerate any form of harassment, violence or intimidation. The university is assisting the Los Angeles Police Department in its investigation of USC student Victor Blackwell. Our own student judicial process is confidential in compliance with federal privacy laws.”
