With the NBA season (finally!) right around the corner, it’s time for NBA.com to release their annual GM Survey. Every year the league surveys all 30 GM’s on their picks for everything from MVP to NBA Finals winners to break-out star, and the results are always discussion-starters.
After the San Antonio Spurs shocked the world and absolutely dismantled LeBron James and the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals last season, GM’s are not sleeping on Tim Duncan and company headed into the 2014-15 season. In fact, nearly half of the GM’s who responded picked the Spurs to repeat for the first time.
Which team will win the 2015 NBA Finals?
1. San Antonio — 46.2%
2. Cleveland — 15.4%
3. Chicago — 11.5%
L.A. Clippers — 11.5%
Oklahoma City — 11.5%
6. Golden State — 3.8%
Last year: Miami — 75.9%
The Cavs are a distant second in the poll despite all of the change in Cleveland.
