Todd Gurley is in a really great position for a guy who was just suspended for extra benefits. The Georgia All American will likely miss the remainder of the season because of the NCAA’s investigation.
Georgia’s loss looks to be Gurley’s and the NFL’s gain.
One anonymous NFC GM is in love with Gurley and believes “he’ll be the best running back prospect to hit the league since Adrian Peterson.”
“He should break the first-round drought,” the GM told NFL Media’s Albert Breer. “He’s one of the 5-10 best players in the draft.”
The same general manager said Gurley is clearly a better prospect than former Alabama star Trent Richardson, the third overall pick in the 2012 draft, and that Gurley is the best draft prospect at the position since Adrian Peterson.
Gurley who was averaging 154.6 yards per game this season, said he’d wait until after the season was finished before making a decision about going pro.
I think the decision has already been made.
