The New Orleans Saints and Cincinnati Bengals will meet Sunday. This is a crucial game for both teams as they are both currently fighting for their playoff lives. Despite everything, Bengals defensive lineman would like to take a moment and shake Saint’s head coach Sean Payton’s hand. Earlier this season when it was announced that all of Still’s jersey sales would be donated to his young daughter fighting cancer, Payton took it upon himself and purchased 100 of his jerseys. With his help over $1 million was donated to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital last week.
“He’s basically what got the ball rolling with everything,” Still said, via the Associated Press. ”A lot of the credit goes to him for what he did. You can’t thank somebody the way you want to or are supposed to over the phone. It’s something you have to do face-to-face, so I’m definitely looking forward to meeting him.”
With so much negativity surrounding the NFL this season, it’s touching to see so many people from all over the league band together in support of this beautiful little girl fighting such a terrible disease.
