Slim Shady has struck again, and this time he used the Ray Rice elevator incident to verbally attack recording artist Lana Del Rey.
The nearly seven-minute a cappella freestyle rap from Eminem highlights a new video released Monday to promote his upcoming “Shady XV” compilation.
The freestyle also features verses from Em’s Shady Records labelmates Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Royce da 5’9″ and Yelawolf.
Eminem freestyles that he would “punch Del Rey right in the face twice like Ray Rice,” in a line that’s sure to draw more praise than criticism.
The Lana Del Rey line comes right after a derogatory lyric about CNN star, Anderson Cooper’s sexuality.
“But I may fight for gay rights, especially if they dyke is more of a knockout than Janay Rice/Play nice? Bitch I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance/’Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens.”
Shady of course is referencing Rice’s February assault of his then-fiancee Janay Palmer. Del Ray is reportedly a fan o Eminem’s, once saying, “I f—ing love Eminem,” ” he’sthe master of lyrics.”

Joking or not, the Shady Records ceo casually rhymed about punching a 100 pound pop-star in the face twice. Will he get judged or condemned?
I don’t expect anyone to burn his music or boycott his shows. The Grammy’s and Billboard’s won’t even reference the lyrics.
