Ever since Jason Kidd bolted Brooklyn for Milwaukee, there’s been some tension between him and Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov.
The Russian owner was asked about Kidd’s departure recently.
“I think there is a nice proverb in English. Don’t let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.”
Kidd spoke on the topic.
“I’m no longer in Brooklyn,” Kidd said. “Unfortunately they keep talking about it. I don’t. I’ll let them keep talking.
“Now if it was me and him playing 1-on-1 on the court, that would be fine.”
We’ll never see them play 1-on-1, but it would definitely make for great television.
