Despite being an all state wide receiver when he was in high school, LeBron James doesn’t have any plans of passing the dual sport gene down to his sons when it comes to the gridiron.
According to Chris Broussard, the Cavs star refuses to let his sons play football because of the health risk. LeBron Jr. and Bryce are only allowed to play basketball, soccer and baseball in the James household.
I was surprised Friday when LeBron told me he doesn't let his sons play football. Only basketball, baseball & soccer in his house.

It’s not shocking. With all the injuries and brain issues surrounding football, young kids can excel and make just as good a living playing pro baseball, soccer or any other sport.
In 2013, a study by ESPN’s Outside the Lines showed that Pop Warner participation dropped 9.5 percent between 2010-12, the largest two-year decline since the organization began.
James is following in the lead of a lot of parents around the country. I’m just shocked that he revealed that little tidbit.
