The NBA is really into expanding their global market shares, and their latest move might fall under the radar as a marketing ploy. The NBA brass will pay a $1 million donation to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s charity United for Wildlife as a thank you for them attending a Brookln Nets/Cleveland Cavaliers game. The Prince and his wife will be stopping in NY on their holiday tour Dec 7-9th where the will see Lebron James, NBA’s and America’s biggest sports star play in Brooklyn on December 8th. This a great idea for the NBA to expand their global reach, as their will surely be a lot of world-wide coverage of the royal family’s trip to America. Insiders Say that the couple wanted to see the historic Madison Square Garden, but snubbed the Knicks/Trailblazers game on the 7th to see the “King” play on the 8th. Hopefully Lebron and Prince William can get together like old chaps and discuss solutions to world problems, and their respective receding hairlines.
