Mariners slugger Robinson Cano suffered a fractured pinky toe during the MLB/Japan All-Star Series on Saturday. The injury occurred in game 3 of the series in the seventh inning.
Cano was taking a pitch from Yuki Nashi when this happened
After x-rays were done the decision to take Cano out the series for good was made. He will 3-4 weeks to recover, and then can return to baseball activities.
After the injury Cano reassured the media after that he’ll be fine:
“It’s part of the game, getting hurt. I’ll be fine.”
