Aaron Rodgers Takes Shots At Players Injured Celebrating

There seems to be confusion surrounding Aaron Rodgers, Stephen Tulloch and the ‘Discount Double Check’ craze that may have been at the center of a few injuries.

Rodgers usually performs the celebration after a rushing touchdown or huge play. He broke it out after throwing a 10-yard touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson on Monday night against the Falcons.

On Tuesday during a weekly radio appearance, Rodgers seemed to take a shot at Lions pass rusher Stephen Tulloch and other guys who were injured doing his celebration after big plays.

“I just wanted to remind people you can do that celebration and not hurt yourself,” Rodgers said Tuesday on his radio show on 540 ESPN Radio Milwaukee. “It wasn’t even really a big one. It was just a little one.”

Rodgers was of course referring to Tulloch, who suffered a season-ending ACL injury while celebrating a sack of Rodgers back in Week 3, and Lamarr Houston of the Bears, who suffered the same fate celebrating against the Patriots.

Tulloch was not pleased upon hearing about the jab, and took to twitter to respond.
