It is possible that the U.S. Olympic Committee could nominate one of four U.S. cities to host the 2024 Summer Olympics on Tuesday. The five top cities that are considered as candidates are Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington D.C.
The USOC board could also vote to move forward with a bid but delay a decision on a city until it gets further direction from the IOC leadership on which city it prefers. The IOC plans to issue “invitations” for specific cities to bid next month.
