I’m not really sure what was holding Johnny Football back before, but I’m glad he’s seen the light. Manziel’s rookie season is over and the rookie quarterback has done some reflecting on his first professional season.
I’m not normally a huge critic of Manziel’s, but the fact that he’s just now realizing that he has to work harder and be more professional is a concern to me.
Here’s what he told the Plain Dealer.
#Browns Manziel: "I'm not the Johnny Manziel that came in here a year ago It's been a year of growing up for me.''

#Browns Manziel: "I have to take this a lot more seriously. It's a job for me now.''

#browns manziel: "I still had the college mindset a little bit"

It was a job for Manziel at A&M, so the fact that he spent a whole season in the NFL thinking it was anything but work is absurd.
Johnny Manziel comes from money and may truly not feel the need to be great. This will be an interesting offseason.
