In effort to expand their fan base to the east coast, Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany will have their 2018 tournament inside Madison Square Garden.
Rutgers and Maryland are playing their first season in the big ten. However, Madison Square Garden will still play hoist to the Big East tournament, with the Big Ten tournament being held a week prior.
