The honeymoon period in Charlotte is over.
Lance Stephenson was brought in to help Charlotte reach new heights, but things haven’t gone as planned. The Hornets are currently (6-15), which places them 12th in the east.
Earlier in the week, it was reported that everyone except Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson are on the trade block. Apparently, Charlotte has received multiple calls regarding Stephenson.
RealGM reports that “four-to-five” teams have reached out to the Charlotte Hornets about struggling guard/forward Lance Stephenson who the team signed to a three-year, $20.4 million deal, but the Hornets are holding off on progressing talks, for now.
This is a situation to keep your eye on.
