South Alabama coach Joey Jones was reminded on Saturday why when you see football players flying at you, it’s probably a good idea to get out the way as quickly as possible. During the Camellia Bowl, Jones attempted to help one of his players that was sliding out of bounds after a play when Jones was inadvertently kicked in the nose by his player. The blow immediately left Jones with a bloody nose.
With all that, South Alabama still lost to Bowling Green 33-28.
