I think the one thing lost in the incident on the sideline between Michael Richardson and West Virginia defensive back Daryl Worley, is the fact that the student athlete is a man in as well.
Richardson put his hands on Worley at that moment because he knew the young man couldn’t do anything about it at the time.
Worley, a sophomore from Philadelphia didn’t take kindly to the smack, and address it on social media afterwards.
I can’t speak on Richardson losing his job, but folks would be in an outrage had Worley simply turned around and decked the A&M staffer.
