Gillette Stadium is set to host the 2016 NHL Winter Classic where the Bruins will take on the Montreal Canadiens. The Winter Classic typically takes place New Years Day.

Gillette may not be as iconic as Fenway but it may provide better viewing and comfort for fans who attend the game. No word yet on how the Patriots will accommodate the Bruins when the time comes.
