Greg Anthony Arrested in Prostitution Sting

"New School vs. Old School" Poker Tournament

Many believe prostitution should be legal, but until it is, you have to be very careful about who you are soliciting, especially if you are high profile ex-athlete and member of the media.

ABC7 News has confirmed that CBS sports anchor Greg Anthony has been arrested in a vice sting operation for solicitation of a prostitute.

He is currently in lockup.

Anthony at the moment hasn’t posted bail and is still behind bars. Anthony who came on the scene as the point guard for UNLV and had a long career in the NBA before becoming a broadcaster hasn’t been in trouble with the law before. He currently works for CBS Sports, TNT, NBATV and contributes to Yahoo. He is scheduled to broadcast a game tomorrow.

CBS has no comment on if he will still be broadcasting the game.

In the grand scheme of crimes, prostitution it is low on the totem pole, but Anthony will have some explaining to do to his wife. Good luck with that.

*UPDATE*

Anthony has been released from jail.
