Carmelo Anthony says he has that “royal feeling’’ and an inspiration to play after participating in a ceremony with Prince Harry.
Anthony admitted, as an entertainer, he feels a responsibility to go on with the show in NBA’s showcase game against the Bucks, in front of the Royal Family.
“It’s London, man,’’ Anthony said. “We don’t get these chances often. So for me to be able to push myself and at least get back on the court tomorrow night, I’m looking forward to that. Hopefully I can do that. Once I’m back, it’s not just about London. If I play tomorrow, I’m going to continue playing. It’s a big possibility.’’

Anthony also said he was humbled to have participated in the graduation ceremony at St. James Palace with Prince Harry for “Coach Core’’ – a British academy that spawns coaches.
“It was an honor, man,’’ Anthony said. “You didn’t know what to expect. To see him and walking in the room together and the kids in there laughing and joking. It was a warm welcome from him to me. It was an honor. I never thought I’d meet the prince.
“It’s royalty,’’ Anthony added. “You can feel it. When you come to London, you can feel the royalty. To be right there in front of him, you get that energy and vibe. You get that royal feeling.’’
