This is the moment when Marshawn Lynch’s treatment of the media will really start to be scrutinized. An All-Pro running back being rude to the media is one thing, but a 4-star recruit is just bad business. Lynch’s media struggle has started to trickle down to younger kids who don’t know any better.
You shouldn’t be a high school athlete that already has issues with the media before even playing a down of college football.
Torrance Gibson, a 4-star quarterback recruit committed to Ohio State, recently tweeted he intended to give media the “Marshawn Lynch” treatment after allegedly being misquoted by an Alabama newspaper.
This is why I hate talking to the media! They switch up your words…

CollegeSpun is reporting that Gibson’s gripe stems from a story published Sunday by AuburnSports.com’s Jeffrey Lee that allegedly misquoted how much fun he at Auburn.
Everything went well. Everything is looking good. (The visit) changed things a lot. We’ll see what the future holds.
I sat in Coach Malzahn’s office and he told me that I’m their guy. He said he wants me to come in and I would get a fair opportunity to play quarterback, and I believe him.
What he did with Cam Newton in one year and Nick Marshall in two, … imagine what he could do with me in three.”
I’m committed (to Ohio State), but I’m considering Auburn a lot. I don’t have a problem redshirting, but sitting two or three years, that’s not what I want to do. I want to come in and get a fair opportunity to play quarterback.
It’s okay to say that Ohio State is loaded at quarterback, and it might be a good idea to reassess your options. Instead, Gibson is back pedaling about a simple recruiting trip.
Someone needs to talk to Torrance Gibson asap.
