NFL star cornerback Patrick Peterson, of the Arizona Cardinals, has always been a fan favorite, but now he has taken it to a whole new level.
Peterson jumped at the opportunity to break a Guinness World Record — while giving back to the fans. Peterson visited Deer Vally High School in Glendale Arizona to take ‘selfies’ with the students.
Peterson had a tough challenge in front of him with this one but as a Pro-Bowl corner, he faces tough challenges (wide receivers) every week.
To break the record of 657 ‘selfie’ in a hour, Peterson had very detailed rules to follow.
According to nbcsports.com the rules were, each ‘selfie’ had to contain Peterson and another person, the second person had to be clearly in frame including their face and neck, as well as some part of Peterson’s arm being visible in the photo.
When asked about the pressure, Peterson said, there’s not any pressure at all because I have millions watching me on Monday Night Football and Sunday Night Football. I just want to go out and execute the game plan.
Peterson more than doubled the record totaling 1447 ‘selfies’ in one hour.
