Australian golfer Robert Allenby says he was kidnapped from a Hawaii wine bar Friday night and later beaten and robbed before being dropped off some seven miles away.
Golf Channel reporter Steve Sands, spoke with Allenby’s caddie who says Allenby was not scheduled to play today at the Sony Open, after missing the cut.
The caddie and a friend were with Allenby at the wine bar, but neither were present during the alleged kidnapping.
