NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has had a rough calendar year, and Sunday night will likely mark the beginning of a long vacation.
Goodell wanted no parts of discussing Ray Rice, Josh Gordon or Deflategate, so he turned down a request from NBC Sports for a Super Bowl interview.
Goodell will settle for his league wide address on Friday.
NBC said it requested an interview with Roger Goodell for its SB pregame show. Says NBC: "Right now it does not look like it will happen."

Barack Obama has reportedly accepted an invite instead.
So as it stands, @BarackObama will sit down with NBC for pregame show, but @nflcommish will not.
