Tony Romo dished out some high praise for a Detroit Lions defense that received news that Ndamukong Suh will be a participant in the huge wildcard weekend matchup.
Romo called the Lions defense, one of the best the Cowboys will see this season.
“They’re outstanding. I think they’re going to be as good a test as we’re going to have all season,” Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo said Wednesday, per the team’s official website. “The game in a lot of ways may come down to … that matchup up front. I think it’ll be a great test for our guys and I think they’re up to the challenge.”
The Lions have one of the best run stopping units in football, but the Cowboys are no one-tricky pony. Dallas will likely punish and test the Lions secondary from the very first play.
