Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel has announced his plans to leave Gainesville and transfer to Louisiana Tech for his final year of eligibility. Driskel’s performance a the starting quarterback to deteriorated to the point that he was replaced by freshman Treon Harris.

Since Driskel has already graduated, he is able to transfer without having to sit out a year. Driskel will take over the starting job at LA Tech for senior Cody Sokol, who was also transferred in from Iowa.
