Fresh off a full year suspension, Alex Rodriguez returned to his team, the New York Yankees, three days earlier than the normal veteran.
A-Rod worked out for about an hour, hitting 6 home runs in 71 swings at bat during his practice. A-Rod turns 40 this year and has not played a full MLB season since 2007. A-Rod has 3 years left on his current contract and the Yankees will owe him $61 million for the final years.
Will A-Rod be as good as he was before this steroids scandal? Only time will tell.
