It seems that Alex Rodriguez will forever be a bachelor. After his publicized divorce from Cynthia Scurtis for his cheating ways, A-Rod settled into a steady relationship with WWE diva Torrie Wilson. Now it appears that Wilson has had enough of Rodriguez.
Sources are saying that Wilson split from Rodriguez because he was unwilling to take their relationship to the next step and his ex-wife, Scurtis, is still a big part of his life. Last summer, Rodriguez spent a day with Wilson, Scurtis and his two daughters. Sounds like a cozy blended family, but apparently Wilson wasn’t really feeling the togetherness.
A-Rod is also still well-documented for his flirtatiousness.
A source reportedly told Page Six that Wilson and Rodriguez had a tendency to “fight over his flirtations with other women,” which she did a good job of hiding two years ago when the New York Yankees slugger was busted for flirting with some female fans during a game.
Several members of the Yankees organization reportedly feel that Wilson was a good influence on A-Rod.
“Torrie is a lovely girl,” a Yankees source told Page Six. “The last thing Alex needs now is to be single, dating and distracted by women.”
Too bad for the Yankees it seems that Rodriguez may have some major female distractions now that he’s a single man again.
