John Wall Set to Start His Own AAU Program

John Wall's sick pass
NBA All-Star John Wall of the Washington Wizards in really growing before our eyes. After only 1 year at Kentucky, Wall’s ability to be a complete point guard and leader on and off the court was in question. Wall has shown his leadership by helping  lead the Wizards to 33-22 record, 4th seed in the east, and now he has announced that he will be starting his own AAU Basketball Program this spring. This is just another example that John Wall has really grown into a leader.

John Wall joins a host of other NBA All-Stars such as LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul who all have their own AAU teams. Team Wall will be coached by Kendrick Williams, Wall’s old AAU and high school coach.

I’m excited to assist John with fulfilling his dream of giving back to his state through the game of basketball,” Williams said. “Team Wall will be built on the foundation and principles that helped mold John into the young man he has become. I’m all in,” said Coach Williams.

Team Wall will be based out of Raleigh, North Carolina, where he played high school and AAU basketball.
