The days of kids signing their letter of intent with their school counselor, coaches and family are over, National Signing day has become a spectacle in its own right. Les Miles recently spoke with a rowdy crowd of those good folks down there in Louisiana to say this about kids leaving that good home cooking :
“And if he finds a way to wiggle out of the finest state in America? If he finds a way not to enjoy Louisiana? If he doesn’t want to stay home? To hell with him.”
This is intriguing to me due to Les Miles being from the great state of Ohio and it is well documented that the coach left his great state for their arch rivals Michigan when it became time for the coach to choose his school of choice. The Mad Hatter probably just got caught up in the hype and dollars signs for a second and didn’t realize his contradiction.
