It appears Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills have their eyes on a quarterback in the midwest. Yahoo Sports is reporting that the Bills are pursuing a trade for Bradford as we speak.
Bradford, who is currently owed a base salary of nearly $13 million in 2015, was reportedly given permission to seek a trade — even though head coach Jeff Fisher denied such.
A healthy and competent Bradford could make the Bills dangerous with weapons like Sammy Watkins and third-year wideout Robert Woods.
Rex Ryan and Bills brass reportedly aren’t sold on E.J. Manuel going forward. Bradford missed all of last season after suffering an ACL tear in a preseason game, the second straight year he has suffered that injury.
