Russell Westbrook is playing unbelievable basketball right now and no team has been able to stop or even slow him down. Nothing can get in Russell’s way other than maybe his own teammate. In Friday’s night game verse the Portland Trailblazers, Russell finishes the game with 40 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assist (his 3rd straight game with a triple double) but lose 115-112. More importantly, Westbrook took a inadvertent shot to the head from his teammate Andre Roberson’s knee.
The blow left a dent in Westbrook’s face and Coach Scott Brooks stated that Westbrook would be further evaluated after the game.

Westbrook missed 4-weeks earlier in the season and his All-Star teammate Kevin Durant is currently out after having issues with his surgically-repaired foot. We can only hope for the best for Westbrook, if he misses an extended amount of time, the Thunder playoff chances are slim.
