It looks like CM Punk is going to be heading to court soon for comments he made against WWE Dr. Chris Amann during his appeatance on Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling podcast.
Just getting the details but @WWEDocAmann has filed a defamation lawsuit against @CMPunk & Colt Cabana for comments made on podcast.

CM Punk was a guest on Colt Cabana’s podcast shortly after being released by the WWE and this is where Dr. Amann alleges that Punk “falsely impugned his integrity” as a Dr by saying Amann misdiagnosed the growth on his back. Amann claims he did not prescribe CM Punk antibiotics. Meanwhile, the lawsuit alleges that Cabana knowingly assisted Punk in disparaging the Dr’s name and reputation. Dr Amann is seeking $1 million in compensatory damaged and unspecified amount in punitive damages. CM Punk is now signed to the UFC and reportedly signed a deal with the WWE in regards to his release and some money owed to him. It looks like Punk’s harsh words during the podcast is going to bite him back. Punk was very hard on the WWE Dr and said he nearly killed him by misdiagnosing the growth on his back and prescribing him antibiotics. This would seem like something that can easily be proven if antibiotics really were prescribed by Dr. Amann, so this matter will be interesting to check the truth in what CM Punk said.
