We don’t see much of Al Haymon but I’m pretty sure his face permanently has a smile on it.
Haymon continues to rake in the network bucks and the latest partner for him and PBC (Pro Championship Boxing) is Bounce TV.
PBC The Next Round will be a monthly series, with two hours of live boxing featuring the most exciting prospects in the sport and boxing’s future stars. The series will premiere on Bounce TV in July, with a schedule of fights and on-air talent to be announced shortly.
Bounce TV is the fastest-growing African-American (AA) network on television and has become the #2 most-watched* among all AA networks. It has grown to be available in more than 85 million homes across 90 markets, 90% of African-American television homes — including all of the top AA television markets — and three quarters of the total television homes in the United States. Among the founders of Bounce TV are iconic American figures Martin Luther King, III and Ambassador Andrew Young.
Haymon continues in his pursuit of bringing boxing back to the casual fan and this time it is obvious he is targeting the African-American market. He’s also been in talks with many spanish networks for a similar monthly deal.
Al Haymon knows who the casual boxing fans are and he is bringing his fighters straight into their living for free.
