After West Virginia’s win, Twitter accounts belonging to Coach Bob Huggins’s two daughters posted crude rape-related comments about Maryland star Dez Wells, who was expelled from Xavier in 2012 after accusations of sexual assault.
A Hamilton (Ohio) County prosecutor determined that the allegations against Wells were unworthy of prosecution. Wells later sued his former school; the lawsuit was settled out of court.
Jenna, who is listed as a program assistant, deleted the tweets and turned her Twitter page private. Jacqueline deleted a tweet that said “Hey #Maryland yell “airball” all you want at Wan, because at the end of the day…. Dez is still a f—in RAPIST.
