Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin, and wide receiver Dez Bryant — both Cowboys No. 88’s — would like to know what the franchise is doing.
Irvin said he some major concerns about the Cowboys after they let DeMarco Murray sign with the division rival, Philadelphia Eagles.
Dez Bryant feels the same, according to Irvin via Dallas radio station KRLD.
I’m getting texts from Dez saying, ‘What are we doing? What is going on?’ It affects everything you do,” Irvin said. “They watch how hard (Murray) works. It takes a football family to win championships. The Cowboys had a football family on their way. Now, will that family still be intact is the question the Cowboys need to ask.”
If that was the conversation, Irvin is wrong for sharing the information he and Bryant discussed — but it speaks volumes about how quickly things change in the NFL.
