The University of Florida will be losing one of their most promising players in Junior Guard, Michael Frazier. Frazier will be foregoing his last year of eligibility in Gainesville to declare for the NBA draft, despite only being rated as a second-round prospect by many draft publications. Frazier will sign with Andy Miller of ASM sports. Once a collegiate player signs with an agency, there is no turning back. This result is very surprising considering the fact that Frazier is coming off of a down season in which the Gators did not make the NCAA tournament. Frazier saw his points per game average drop slight to 12.1 in 2015 from 12.4 in 2014. Frazier is a career 43% 3-point shooter, and a solid athlete with a 6’4 frame and a 6’9 wingspan, so he should get some looks from NBA teams.
