Willie Nelson is a pretty big proponent of marijuana, as if that’s news, but what is news is that the 81-year old country singer will be launching his own brand of weed. Willie’s Reserve will be a special brand of weed sold in states where weed has been deemed legal. We’re not just talking weed, but actual brick and mortar stores. The stores would sell Willie’s Reserve brand of weed, bongs, and merchandise as well as other growers brands. PR agent, Michael Bowman spoke with the Daily Beast.
Via Daily Beast,
There will be our own, and then there will be opportunities for other growers, who meet quality standards. Let’s just call it the anti-Walmart model. Personally, internally, that’s what we call it. A certain standard by which growers have to account for carbon and such, in a way that empowers small growers who are doing the right thing.
They would obviously be aiming at places where Marijuana has been legalized for use like Colorado, Washington, and Alaska.
