Kawhi Leonard is set to become a restricted free-agent, which means the San Antonio Spurs can match any offer sheet.
However, that isn’t stopping the Boston Celtics from giving it a shot.
Leonard will be a restricted free agent this summer and will receive his share of offer sheets, likely including one from the Celtics. Boston coach Brad Stevens gushed about Leonard’s defensive prowess.
While its unlikely to happen, Leonard would sure look nice along side Marcus Smart and Avery Bradley defensively.
