Could the Washington Redskins be prepared to start all over at quarterback?
Bleacher Report Insider Jason Cole is reporting that Marcus Mariota may not slide past the Redskins at five if the Titans pass on him at number two overall.
Washington needs help everywhere, but Cole believes that the Redskins could choose to move on from Robert Griffin III. According to the report, “the interest in Mariota is real.”
Cole is reporting that such a scenario would entail the defensive lineman dominating the first few picks of the draft, allowing Washington the opportunity to select Mariota at their choosing.
The Redskins reportedly won’t trade up for Mariota, but likely won’t pass on him either.
