Rex Ryan just took a dig at the New York Jets and it centers on two of his former stars.
Asked Tuesday at the AFC coaches media breakfast if he was bitter that Johnson waited until after firing him to make big money signings to bring back Revis and Cromartie, the new Bills coach jabbed his two former cornerbacks instead.
“I don’t know if we could have used them,” Ryan said. “They might have been backups [in Buffalo].”
He obviously was joking, but I’m sure it stings that Woody Johnson finally started to spend money.
