The Battle of Tobacco between The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and Duke University might be the biggest rivalry in college basketball. The two schools are separated by less than ten miles, have 95-years of history and always give the fans an entertaining game. Although the coaches and players may hate each other on the court, they have the upmost respect for each other off the court.
Back on February 18, Duke took a few moments prior to the start of the game to honor the late great Dean Smith and now coach Roy Williams and the Tar Heels are returning the favor by honoring coach Mike Krzyzewski on reaching 1,000 wins earlier this season.

Roy said it was one of neatest moments he's ever had with Duke honoring Dean Smith. Joked about giving K a broken rabbit's foot as the gift

These two programs have great history against each other but acts like this show the class and the respect the the two programs regardless to the rivalry. With tournament seeding on the line, I’m sure neither team will have an issue getting past the pregame ceremony and focusing on the game.
